"Provide more effective communications for mobile
employees. Cisco Unified Mobile Communicator is an easy-to-use
software application for mobile handsets that extends enterprise

real-time collaboration across the enterprise"
(cisco.com).
Cisco's New Global Approach
Countries
throughout the world are experiencing growing demands for
technology. Internet-based broadband communications are now the
common denominator that unites our global community, and Cisco is
"redoubling [their] efforts" to accommodate "emerging" countries.
This is not an easy task for Cisco due to logistical, operational,
and political challenges.
Over the past two decades, Cisco has an integral part in developing
Internet Protocol (IP)-based networks on a global scale. Now, Cisco
is developing "common tools and methods" to help improve
communication to their diverse and emerging marketplace consisting
of 130 nations (2.3 billion people) (cisco.com).
Cisco Invests $275 Million in Turkey
Over
the next five years, Cisco brings Internet Protocol (IP)-based
networks to Turkey. Cisco is building "40 new Cisco Networking
Academy centers in Turkish high schools... hoping to make the
program available to all 13 million students in the country"
(cisco.com). The expected results will include "new job
opportunities and economic growth. . . increase prosperity and
stability" (cisco.com).
