EdgeIron CF & G Series

Foundry EdgeIron 2402CF, EdgeIron 4802CF, EdgeIron 24G, and EdgeIron 48G are perfect solutions for business wiring closets, small backbones, server farms, and desktop applications for high-performance local area networks. This EdgeIron family comes with 1-RU form factor and built for wiring closets, distribution, and data centers.  They include combo Gigabit Ethernet ports that hold RJ-45 (copper) or mini-GBIC optics, SX for multimode fiber, LX for single-mode fiber, and LHA for single-mode fiber that can reach up to 70Km.

EdgeIron GS & 8X10G Series

The EdgeIron family of 10-GbE switches includes: (1)EdgeIron 48GS—48-port 10/100/1000 ports, 2-port stacking, and an optional slot for a 10-GbE module that supports removable and hot-swappable SR, LR, and ER XENPAK optics. (2) EdgeIron 8X10G—8-port 10-GbE ports that supports removable and hot-swappable SR, LR, and ER XFP optics. A 10/100 port (RJ-45) is available for use as a management interface, enabling full usage of all 10-GbE ports.
