Used Cisco Security Network Administration Control (NAC) Appliances

Cisco NAC Appliances support roles-based access control by acting as an authentication proxy for most forms of authentication. They allow administrators to maintain multiple user profiles with varying degrees of access. NAC Appliances also support scanning of all Windows-based operating systems such as: Mac OS, Linux machines, and non-PC networked devices such as Xbox, PlayStation 2, and personal digital assistants. These NAC Security Appliances conduct network-based scans and use custom-built scans where needed. In a managed domain, a NAC Appliance will scan Windows registries without client software. There are so many features, here is just a sampling: automatic security policy updates, authentication integration, vulnerability assessment, device quarantine, centralized management, remediation and repair, Single Sign On (SSO), and guest access service.
